How hungry are you for more of God? Hunger is the starting point of expansion. If you’re content with surface-level faith, your spiritual capacity will remain small. But a deep yearning for God draws Him closer and causes your inner life to expand. You must daily pray that God gives you a fresh hunger for His Word, His presence, and His power.
Furthermore, are you ready to allow God to stretch you? Growth often comes through discomfort. Spiritual stretching happens when God leads us through trials, new assignments, or unfamiliar territory. These are opportunities to lean on Him more deeply and grow stronger in our faith. Now welcome the stretching process—He is enlarging your capacity.
A larger spiritual capacity is not just about stretching outward—it’s also about going deeper. Spend intentional time in the Word, prayer, and worship. Like a tree, the deeper your roots go, the greater the fruit you’ll bear.
Always know that being filled with the Holy Spirit isn’t a one-time event or experience—it’s a continual process. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill every part of your life: your thoughts, desires, decisions, and actions. As you yield, your spiritual capacity increases, and your life becomes a vessel of His glory.
